Job Description/Requirements
Our client, UTL, a multinational company in the Food and Beverage FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Plant Manager. The successful candidate will oversee all daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient production processes while maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a strategic approach to plant management.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Oversee and manage all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce operational costs.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and environmental policies.
* Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
* Coordinate with senior management and other departments to align plant activities with business objectives.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess plant performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
* Manage budgets, control costs, and ensure timely production to meet customer demands.
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external stakeholders to support operational needs.
*Requirements*
* 3-5 years of experience in a Plant Manager or similar leadership role within the Food and Beverage FMCG sector.
* Strong knowledge of plant operations, safety standards, and compliance with health and environmental regulations.
* Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in building high-performance teams.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
