Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets, gross margin, and profitability goals.
  • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive growth.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly.
  • Implement customer loyalty programs and engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee inventory management, stock control, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage store maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Lead, train, and develop a diverse team of department managers and staff.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Implement visual merchandising strategies and maintain store appearance.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions and campaigns.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage risk, maintaining a secure and safe environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and community groups.
  • Support company-sponsored events and charitable initiatives.



Requirements:
  • 4+ years of retail management experience, preferably in supermarkets.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and implement strategies.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with retail management software and systems.
  • Certification in retail management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with local market trends and consumer preferences.
