The Safety Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. This role provides leadership in promoting a strong safety culture, proactively identifying hazards, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans, procedures, and policies.
- Lead safety audits, inspections, and investigations, ensuring timely reporting and corrective actions.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures to mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with local occupational health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding sessions for employees and contractors.
- Lead incident investigations, prepare reports, and track follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with project teams, site supervisors, and subcontractors to enforce safety protocols.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, communication, and recognition initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key safety metrics (e.g., LTIs, near misses, TRIFR).
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
