Overview
As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth operations and helping achieve sales targets. This role involves handling inquiries, managing sales data, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and excellent customer service
What You Get To Do
- Assist the sales team with the preparation of proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Process sales orders, ensure accurate data entry, and track their status until delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics, finance, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain communication with customers regarding order status, deliveries, and any issues.
- Support the sales team by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Maintain accurate sales records and update customer databases.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to track performance against targets.
- Monitor and report key sales metrics (e.g., conversion rates, customer retention).
- Manage and track sales team expenses and prepare reimbursement reports.
- Identify inefficiencies in sales processes and propose solutions for improvement.
- Assist in the implementation of sales processes and policies.
What it takes to succeed
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
· 2-4 years of experience in sales administration, sales coordination, or a similar role.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Knowledge of sales processes and customer service best practices.
Familiarity with project management tools.
