Job Summary
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying mid-level to high level business prospects, business development, mapping out strategies to drive business growth and expansion in line with the objectives of the organization.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify new clients, open new business relationships with them, and upgrade relationships with clients
- Research and compile a list of all organizations that form BU Power’s target customers within the geographical zone
- Identify and document mid-level target markets, while highlighting prospective business opportunities in those markets
- Present a portfolio of prospective clients at the beginning and end of every business cycle
- Project planning, execution, and management with minimal supervisor
- Adept in Business Intelligence and project management tools such as Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint Presentation, etc.
- Provide honest feedback on customers’ perception of the company’s service
- Prepare, analyze, and update intelligence reports on competition, market trends, pricing
- Establishing and maintaining partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders within our target market
- Continuous learning and having proactive research habits while staying updated on industry trends to effectively target mid-level Clientele
Requirements:
- Excellent writing skills
- Must be analytical and have a penchant for analyzing the industry
- Prior experience in diesel generator sales or with the energy industry is a plus but not required
- Strong facilitation skills, capable of organizing and spearheading meetings with mid-level project stakeholders
- Willingness to learn
