Job Summary

To provide management and operational direction for the sales team in achieving the set sales targets and overall company’s sales and marketing objectives by defining sales strategies, developing and executing the sales team’s Operational Plan, defining and tracking sales targets, overseeing sales budgets and expenditure, honing sales processes and maintaining the Customer Relationship Management.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implementation of processes and procedures for effective and efficient sales team operations. 
  • Manages the timely processing of leads generated by the company.
  • Ensures the realization of the monthly company’s sales targets
  • Ensures the daily optimization of the leads generated 
  • Prompt filling of the daily leads tracker
  • Management of the daily field sales feedback reports for effective strategy formulation and implementation
  • Aggressive Continuous Follow-up on the different delivery teams PAN Nigeria to ensure 100% conversion of submitted orders 
  • Optimization of the Sales Team’s Efficiency by spending 50 percent of working time on reviewing, training, coaching, and building the sales team with the global best sales practices to ensure the achievement of allotted sales target/creating and maintaining a world-class Sales culture, focused on delivering results by providing ongoing coaching and development of sales support staff. 
  • Manages the sales team utilizing an in-depth knowledge of the company’s core products garnered through the successful completion of the required sales training program.
  • Ensures that the team consistently meets and/or exceeds daily sales performance metrics. 
  • Responsible for the communication of the overall sales team’s monthly targets to the sales team.
  • Motivates and drives the performance of the Sales Team. 
  • Consistently ensures that Sales and operations activities are conducted with integrity at all times and that behaviour aligns with Company’s values. 
  • Serves as the main point of contact for the Sales Team and addresses calls for most general business issues and escalates to the management as appropriate. 
  • Generates and drives the implementation of sales strategies with the Sales Team. 
  • Utilizes key performance indicators to track and analyze Sales Reps’ performance and leverages it to effectively coach, develop, and ensure the optimization of the Sales team. 
  • Completes sales forecasts and sales activity reports and presentations in a timely manner  (Responsible for the submission of the weekly sales forecasts, team’s weekly activity reports, and performance to the managing director)
  • Continuously researches and remains knowledgeable of industry trends and competition and relays such information to the management
  • Drives the overall company’s vision within the team. 
  • Identifies new opportunities for sales campaigns that can lead to increased sales
  • Management of the collation and submission of the following reports; daily sales reports, daily progressive orders reports & daily ad performance report


Requirements:

  • B.SC in   Business Management / Administration or any other related course 
  • Minimum of 2-5 years experience in a similar position


Remuneration: NGN 250,000
