Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing product challenges and offering solutions from OEM offerings.
- Gather and share market intelligence, competitor information, and customer needs to drive business growth.
- Lead technical demonstrations, site visits, and project team collaborations to promote product adoption.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, monitoring relevant portals for bid and tender openings.
- Manage the bid preparation process, ensuring compliance, timeliness, and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation, review tender documents, and assess risks and opportunities.
- Prepare and submit compliant bids, maintaining a database of ongoing and past bids for future reference.
- Foster relationships with procurement agencies, clients, and manufacturers to stay informed about market trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Chemical, Metallurgical, Materials, or Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in technical sales and bid/tender management, preferably in the oil and gas or industrial services sector.
- Proficiency in navigating procurement platforms.
- Strong grasp of commercial, contractual, and regulatory aspects of bidding, including tender evaluation and contract management.
- Professional certification in sales, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
