Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing.
  • Research and target potential clients in the market to increase the company's customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster long-term business partnerships.
  • Arrange and attend meetings with prospective clients to discuss their needs, present products/services, and answer questions.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Demonstrate the value of products/services to clients, focusing on how they solve customer problems or add value
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies, campaigns, and product promotions.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely manner, ensuring that no sales opportunities are missed.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients while ensuring that sales targets and company margins are met.
  • Overcome objections and handle customer concerns to close sales successfully.
  • Secure contracts and ensure that sales are finalized and documented accurately.
  • Maintain contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and uncover new sales opportunities.
  • Provide after-sales support, including troubleshooting, resolving issues, and ensuring the continued satisfaction of clients.
  • Monitor client accounts to ensure timely payments, renewals, or up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and deals in the company’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Provide regular reports to management on sales progress, forecasts, and performance against targets.
  • Update sales pipelines and ensure that all sales documentation is properly filed and accessible.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams on customer preferences and competitive positioning.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, customer support, and operations, to ensure smooth sales operations and fulfillment.
  • Provide valuable input into product offerings, promotions, and sales strategies based on customer feedback and market insights.


Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not always required.
  • Proven track record of sales success, ideally with 1-3 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., technology, healthcare, retail) may be preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple clients.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
