Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to promote the hotel’s services, including rooms, event spaces, and catering.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
- Conduct site visits and hotel tours for prospective clients to showcase facilities and services.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches, proposals, and contracts.
- Achieve sales targets by implementing strategic plans and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials and campaigns.
- Maintain an up-to-date client database and follow up on leads in a timely manner.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors and industry trends to inform sales strategies.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Prepare and present sales performance reports to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong understanding of hotel services, facilities, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.
- Persuasive negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software for managing leads and reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet sales targets, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a customer-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed for client meetings or events.
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
