Job Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Sales Lead (Sales Director/Manager) to drive our sales efforts by leveraging vendor and distributor partnerships. This role will focus on developing and managing strategic relationships, optimizing partner resources, and ensuring successful deal closures.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's core business and vendor partnerships.
  • Build and nurture relationships with vendor sales teams to leverage their resources effectively.
  • Identify new business opportunities, particularly in government and enterprise markets.
  • Lead the sales cycle, including lead generation, partner collaboration, and contract negotiations.
  • Track sales performance and optimize processes for scalability and efficiency.
  • Train and mentor a small internal sales team to enhance productivity.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, IT solutions sales, or government contracting.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement and contract vehicles (e.g., TX DIR, OMNIA).
  • Proven track record of working with vendors and distributors to drive sales.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales opportunities.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in IT software and hardware sales.
  • Knowledge of NAICS/NIGP codes and federal/state procurement regulations.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
