Job Summary

Our client is looking to hire a Sales Manager - Software Solutions (B2B, Government, and Enterprise) who will be responsible for driving sales efforts and expanding the customer base by successfully selling software solutions to a diverse range of clients, including businesses, government agencies, and large enterprises. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling complex software solutions across various sectors, with a deep understanding of the unique requirements and procurement processes of government and enterprise clients.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to target and penetrate business, government, and enterprise markets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets across all target sectors.


Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in businesses, government agencies, and large enterprises.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles and procurement processes within government and enterprise environments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their unique challenges and providing tailored software solutions.


Revenue Growth and Market Expansion:

  • Drive initiatives to grow the customer base and increase market share within target sectors.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance the company’s market position.
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the client portfolio.


Sales Operations and Reporting:

  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and forecasting to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
  • Utilize CRM and other sales tools to manage customer interactions, sales processes, and team productivity.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to senior management.


Collaboration and Cross-functional Alignment:

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure product offerings meet client needs.
  • Provide feedback on customer requirements and market trends to influence product development and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure sales processes meet regulatory requirements, especially in government contracts.


Requirements:

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in software sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience selling software solutions to businesses, government agencies, and large enterprises.
  • Deep understanding of the procurement processes and sales cycles within government and enterprise environments.


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of software sales, including SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales environments and manage long sales cycles.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is preferred.


Location: Lagos, Nigeria.

Remuneration: NGN 800,000 Monthly Net

Work Mode: Hybrid
