Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team in promoting and selling solar panel products. This role requires a motivated individual with a strong sales background and experience in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a proven sales track record, and a passion for sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the solar panel market.
• Identify market opportunities and trends to enhance sales performance.
• Set clear sales targets and monitor team performance to ensure targets are met.
Team Leadership:
• Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand client needs and tailor solar solutions to meet those needs.
• Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Market Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and analyse competitor activities.
• Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the solar energy market.
Sales Reporting:
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
• Collaborate on promotional campaigns and product launches to drive sales growth.
Compliance and Standards:
• Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar panels.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Proven experience in the renewable energy industry or a closely related sector.
