Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet and provide assistance to customers
- Recommend products to customers
- Answer questions and address customer concerns
- Set up products/items for display and take inventory
- Manage the cash register or point of sale system
- Sell, restock and merchandise products
- Take payments for purchases and package purchases
- Bring/take products and/or items from/to the bakery
- Write products that are out/almost out of stock
- Explain/Demonstrate how to use products
- Keep shop floor organized and well-stocked
- Receive new products when delivered
- Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) rules when arranging shelves
- Promote special sales and awareness of the store loyalty program
- Meet set sales target
- Maintain the store's cleanness by completing various chores
- Talk with supervisors about products to push
- Remain calm while dealing with difficult customers
- Escalate customer complaints to the supervisor
- Report discrepancies and issues to the supervisor
- Assign price tags and update them regularly
- Maintain store security and look out for illegal activities
- Follow all companies’ policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 0-1 year experience
- Minimum of SSCE
