Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and offer coaching to improve skills and productivity.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to track progress, share updates, and motivate the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
- Assist team members in closing deals and handling difficult client situations when necessary.
- Ensure proper onboarding and training for new sales team members.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and forecasts to senior management.
- Ensure that the team adheres to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Minimum of a BSc. or HND degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships and leading a team.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies for improvement.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve team and client issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track performance and manage customer relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
