Mephalti Technologies Limited is a fast-growing startup software company seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales/Marketing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies and ensure that all operations successfully meet the goals set by management.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns, including those on social media and search engines.
  • Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.
  • Conduct market research on rival products and analyze the competitive landscape.
  • Identify, target, and convert potential customers into long-term clients.
  • Prospect clients through networking and cold calling.
  • Conduct client presentations and needs assessments.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Create and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Track and achieve sales targets to ensure the company meets its sales quotas.
  • Oversee daily sales activities, adhere to best practices, and meet performance metrics.
  • Prepare, review, and manage contractual agreements with clients.
  • Create, analyze, and present monthly sales performance reports on time.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.


Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a marketing and sales role; experience with startups is an advantage.
  • BSc or HND in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, with strong deal-closing abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong client management, negotiation, numerical, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Exceptional customer service skills, along with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on insights.
