Job Summary

We are seeking to hire a detail-oriented Salon Manager, who will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily salon operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, staff productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will maintain a professional and welcoming environment while addressing operational challenges, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and fostering team synergy. To excel in this role, you must have prior salon management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle customer service with emotional intelligence.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily activities of the salon to ensure all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Monitor the appearance and readiness of staff, ensuring they consistently maintain a professional and polished standard.
  • Prepare for client appointments by reviewing bookings in advance, organizing required resources, and ensuring all client needs are met.
  • Foster a customer-focused environment by addressing client concerns promptly and resolving complaints effectively to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure all clients are attended to without delay and receive exceptional service at all times.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with team members to reinforce work ethics, professionalism, and adherence to salon standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, promoting diligence and excellence in their work practices.
  • Review client orders and ensure that services meet the required quality standards and exceed expectations.
  • Implement feedback systems to gather client input and use the insights to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Manage and de-escalate conflicts effectively, performing necessary damage control to protect and uphold the salon’s reputation.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the organization.



Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Management, and related fields.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in salon management.
  • Experience in the telecommunications and beauty industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with current beauty industry trends, products, and techniques to keep the salon competitive.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customers simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to enforce discipline and lead by example
  • High emotional intelligence and conflict-resolution capabilities


Remuneration: NGN 350,000.00


Location: Lekki, Lagos


Work Mode: Full Time, Onsite


Work Hours: Tuesdays- Sundays; 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
