Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a SAP XPS/ABAP Tester. The role entails conducting functional and technical testing of SAP applications, particularly focusing on SAP FICO and Master Data.

We seek a skilled SAP XPS/ABAP Tester to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of SAP XPS/ABAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP testing methodologies, automation tools, and XPS/ABAP processes, ensuring seamless integration, high system reliability, and collaborating with development teams to ensure quality software implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans for SAP XPS/ABAP solutions.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing on SAP XPS/ABAP systems.

Identify, record, and track defects using test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA).

Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test case results and reports.

Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts to ensure test coverage and system stability.

Conduct root cause analysis for defects and provide recommendations for resolution.

Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with business requirements.

Utilize automated testing tools to enhance testing efficiency where applicable.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist end-users in validating system functionality.

Provide test reports and documentation to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Consulting experience in IT or related fields
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SAP XPS/ABAP testing with a focus on SAP XPS/ABAP modules is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Hands-on experience in automation testing (e.g., SAP TAO, Worksoft Certify, Selenium).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of SAP business processes and workflows.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in Business Process validation

• Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, qTest).
• Understanding of SAP integration with other enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation is a plus.
