Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee academic policies and curriculum planning for the College of Nursing.
- Lead accreditation and continuous improvement processes to ensure the highest standards of education.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance faculty development and student success.
- Manage budgeting, planning, and administrative functions within the college.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages research and scholarly activities.
- Engage with community and healthcare partners to expand clinical opportunities for students and faculty.
- Represent the College of Nursing at national and international forums.
Requirements:
- Minimum of master's in nursing or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of academic leadership experience in higher education, with a strong preference for experience in nursing education.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing academic programs.
- Proven leadership and organizational skills, with a capacity to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong record of scholarship and research in the field of nursing.
