Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Supervise a team of technicians and electricians, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of workshop activities and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of goals and efficient utilization of resources
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop to enhance quality and performance
- Train and develop staff to enhance their skills and competencies in electrical maintenance
- Ensure effective budgeting and cost control in workshop operations
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Professional certifications in electrical maintenance will be an advantage
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of maintenance management software
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
