Our Project
Productive Playhouse is seeking teenagers 13-17 from cultures and racial heritages across the world to help with a research study that supports the development of inclusive technology. Teens, with their parent or guardian’s permission, will record a small set of video selfies, to help inform technology to include all cultures equally, and to create children’s online safeguards.

Job Details
Project participants will use a provided app to take a series of video selfies under various conditions, such as: lighting, wearing a prop (hats, sunglasses, headbands, etc.), and movement. The time required to complete this study should take no more than two hours. The data collected will only be used for the purpose of this study. Parental/guardian consent is required, and we will verify parent/guardian and teen identification, during the selection process.
Requirements
- Participants must be 13 - 17 years of age
- Parental/guardian consent is required
- Have access to a mobile device with a camera
- Teen must have, or be willing to create, an individual Google account
Payment
USD $40 USD (compensation varies per country) which will be paid upon completion of the study.
