Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 
• Accounting Operations: Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the general ledger. 
• Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement. 
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, assist with internal and external audits, and identify and address any discrepancies or issues. 
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and management of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and future projections. 
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and procedures, recommending and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 
• Tax Compliance: Assist with tax preparation and compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and timely payment of taxes. 
• Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and errors, ensuring the integrity of financial records. 
• Financial Advice: Provide financial advice and recommendations to management, supporting strategic decision- making.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Must be either Chartered or have ACCA
• Hardworking and dedicated.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
• Ethical behavior.
