Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership:
- Lead the accounting team in preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior accountants.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Prepare and review financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
- Develop and implement financial models and tools to improve financial decision-making.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and filings (e.g., tax returns, statutory reports).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Manage external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Accounting Operations:
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate and complete financial records.
- Ensure proper internal controls and accounting processes are in place.
- Manage the accounting team's workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Financial Advisory and Support:
- Provide financial advice and support to management and other departments.
- Assist in the development of business cases and financial models for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with other teams to improve financial management and decision-making.
Team Management and Development:
- Manage and develop the accounting team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Special Projects:
- Lead special projects, such as financial system implementations, process improvements, and financial analysis initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA).
- Minimum 5 years+ experience in accounting or finance role, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting position.
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAGE, Zohobooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Terms and Conditions:
Full-time Role:
- Expected to work standard office hours from 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM, Five days a week (Mondays to Fridays).
- Occasional flexibility required for overtime during busy periods or special projects.
- Adherence to company policies regarding attendance and punctuality.
