Job Description/Requirements
Financial Planning and Budgeting:
- Assist the annual budgeting process, including preparing detailed budget models and presentations for executive review.
- Coordinate with department heads to gather budget inputs and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
- Develop and maintain short and long-term cashflow forecasts and strategic plans.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and investigate variances.
- Analyze financial results and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare financial analysis presentation and recommendations to senior management.
Financial Modeling:
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning and decision-making. To include corporate consolidation, Intercompany eliminations, cash flow analysis to outline some specific examples.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the impact of various business strategies and external factors.
- Provide financial modeling support for capital investment decisions, M&A activities, and other strategic initiatives.
Operational Support:
- Partner with operations, sales, and marketing teams to provide financial guidance and support for key business initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze production costs, margins, and inventory levels to identify areas for improvement.
- Support pricing strategy and cost management efforts to optimize profitability.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis to drive better decision-making and business performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (Candidates with Microsoft GP experience will be given priority.)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Although working remotely, must be able to match Pacific Standard Time as necessary
