Job Title: Senior Analyst, Legal & Compliance
About the role
Key responsibilities:
a. Preparing and reviewing transaction agreements (property transactions, equity or debt transactions).
b. Providing legal advice on potential transactions.
c. Preparing and reviewing engagement agreements with staff and consultants.
d. Liaising with external counsels for the resolution of legal issues.
e. Liaising with relevant authorities for the processing of title documents (legal Mortgage, tittle perfection, etc.).
f. Preparing and reviewing partnership agreements with other capital market operators and financial service providers.
g. Keeping up to date with regulatory policy updates/changes and providing management with updates.
Strategic priorities:
a. Contributing to the investment decision making process.
b. Contributing to the fostering of a compliance conscious culture.
Experience and skills
Minimum Educational Requirement: BSc (strictly in Law)
Candidate Experience:
a. Mid-Level (minimum of three years post call to Bar)
b. Preferable previous experience in working with financial service companies.
Key skills:
c. Intermediate proficiency in the use of Microsoft word and PowerPoint.
d. Good communication skills- both written and oral.
e. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
