Senior Associate

Requirements:

• Represent clients in litigation matters, including High Court and Court of Appeal cases.
• Draft and review legal documents such as Notices of Appeal and appellate briefs with precision.
• Conduct trials independently from initiation to conclusion.
• Lead and supervise junior associates, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to deadlines.
• Provide expert legal advice and strategy in complex litigation cases.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
• Uphold professional standards while demonstrating leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Manage case files and ensure efficient execution of legal processes with minimal supervision.

Requirements: 

• A bachelor’s degree in law.
• The candidate must have at least 7-10 years of post-call experience in core litigation.
• The candidate must possess excellent drafting skills in Notice of Appeals and Appellate and Respondent briefs.
• The candidate must be able to conduct trials from start to finish.
• The candidate must have had several High Court and Court of Appeal appearances alone.
• The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and exhibit good leadership traits.
• The candidate must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• The candidate must be able to lead and supervise other juniors.
• The candidate must have good interpersonal and team-playing skills.
