Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality backend applications using Spring Boot framework 
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with Angular framework
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code
• Develop and maintain databases using PostgreSQL
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies 

Requirements: 

• Minimum 7 years of proven experience as a backend developer (non-negotiable, please do not apply if you have less experience) 
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework
• Strong knowledge of Angular framework
• Mastery of Java programming language
• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL database
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Smart, proactive, and self-motivated individual 

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) 
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies 

Remuneration: NGN 500,000 - 800,000 per year (depending on experience)
