Job Overview
The Senior Communications Consultant is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of strategies at the Foundation. You will develop innovative tools for the organization to build a reputable brand globally that aligns with its corporate mission and goals.
To succeed in this role, you must have vast professional experience in networking and influencing. You will display excellent public speaking capabilities on all levels and maximise global initiative for the organization's benefit. You will coordinate and oversee the activities of the communication department.
Job Responsibilities
● Design and implement communications strategies that align with the corporate mission and goals.
● Guide the foundation on measures to achieve all its goals from a communications perspective.
● Provide essential advice and direction to management on strategic communications, risk and crisis management.
● Create KPIs for the department and its members.
● Oversee all communication processes, both locally and internationally, in the department.
● Design and develop communication and advocacy tools and materials such as briefing materials, articles, press releases, video overviews, and visibility materials.
● Liaise with key global media partners to create publicity and manage the public relations of the Foundation.
● Work with the Communications Manager to manage all social media communications, trend updates, and information repositories.
● Ensure optimum engagement on all social media platforms, including reviewing the digital performance.
● Work with the Communications Manager to oversee events and programs to promote the mission and vision of the organization to credible partners
. ● Represent the organisation in local and international events, and maintain a positive brand image.
● Understand and incorporate best practices in the communications department.
● Manage change and communication project delivery from project scope agreement to final evaluation, including implementation and delivery.
● Help build and maintain stakeholder relationships, produce and manage all client communication collateral on time and budget using your strong writing skills and project management abilities.
Requirement/Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Journalism, Mass Communication, or other related fields.
● 12 years of experience in the communications space, with at least five (5) years of experience in a senior consulting/management role
● Extensive knowledge of global networking

● Hands-on experience in strategic communication.
● Strong interest in helping children and families in distress
● Must be able to train and motivate the team to achieve collective goals
● Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Ability to maintain brand and messaging consistency while tailoring content for our target audience
● Experience using digital and social analytics, email marketing systems, and website content management systems to implement digital marketing strategies.
