Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive eCommerce Administrator to manage the daily operations of our online store. This role requires someone who is adept at maintaining the webstore’s functionality, managing product catalogs, ensuring optimal customer experience, seo, and handling day-to-day tasks that drive operational efficiency.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily online operations of the eCommerce platform to ensure seamless performance.
  • Monitor webstore uptime and functionality, working with technical teams to resolve any issues.
  • Implement updates, promotions, banners, and seasonal campaigns on the webstore.
  • Be on call and meet daily with store owners for meetings and directions
  • Knowledge of Shopify and other e-commerce solutions very helpful
  • Must have dependable computer and internet access.
  • Import, update, and manage product listings, including images, descriptions, pricing, and inventory.
  • Optimize product content for SEO and user engagement.
  • Ensure accurate product categorization and tagging.
  • Monitor and process daily orders, returns, and refunds.
  • Collaborate with warehouse/logistics teams to ensure timely shipping and delivery.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like sales, conversions, and traffic.
  • Analyze inventory levels and forecast demand.
  • Provide insights to improve user experience and conversion rates.
  • Assist in executing email marketing campaigns, discount codes, and special promotions.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure webstore alignment with broader marketing efforts.
  • Implement A/B testing to refine user experiences.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with platform policies and regulations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or If you don’t have a degree, then have experience and passion.
  • Proven experience managing eCommerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of online retail operations, including product management and customer service.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Google Analytics, and basic photo editing software.
  • Familiarity with SEO, HTML/CSS basics, and content management systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Additional Skills:

  • Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of online payment systems and security practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under tight deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and derive actionable insights.
