Senior Financial Controller

NOTE: Financial Controller (Senior Level)

Position Overview

The senior finance controller will be responsible for managing and handling the financial activities and reports of the company. These includes budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, accounting, internal control, vetting and approvals, debt management, stakeholder’s management, and ensuring compliances with regulations.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

Professional certifications such as ACA, ACIB, ICAN or similar qualifications are an added advantage

Reporting & Accountability:

• Reports directly to the Board of Directors.
• Works closely with regulatory bodies such as the CBN.
