EasySpend is a revolutionary fintech startup transforming financial services in Nigeria. We're seeking an exceptional Senior Front End Engineer and Co-Founder to join our team and drive technical innovation.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Front End Engineer and Co-Founder, you'll lead our front-end development efforts, drive technical decision-making, and contribute to our company's strategic growth. You'll collaborate closely with our cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy scalable, user-centric financial applications.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive, and scalable front-end applications using modern technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

· Collaborate with our design team to implement visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces

· Lead front-end architecture and technical decision-making

· Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team

· Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards

· Contribute to open-source projects and stay up-to-date with industry trends

· Collaborate with the founding team to define company strategy and direction

· Help drive hiring and growth initiatives

Requirements:

· 7+ years of experience in front-end development

· Proven track record of leading front-end projects and teams

· Expertise in modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

· Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks

· Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX)

· Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and human-centered design

· Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability and performance

· Strong communication and leadership skills

· Experience with Agile development methodologies

· Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for innovation

· Proficiency in PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks)

Nice to Have:

· Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Ruby on Rails)

· Familiarity with DevOps and deployment processes

· Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)

· Experience with accessibility and security best practices
