Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Web Crawling & Scraping: Build and deploy scalable crawlers, scrapers, and downloaders using Python, Selenium, and JavaScript to analyze social media content.
- Backend Development: Develop and optimize high-performance APIs & back-end services using Java and Spring Boot; PostgreSQL and Firestore databases; RabbitMQ and Kafka message brokers.
- Cloud Deployment: Be actively involved in deploying the services on the Kubernetes cluster.
- Data Processing & Compliance: Help process vast amounts of media data, ensuring accuracy, compliance in copyright monitoring, and cost-effectiveness.
- Scalability & Optimization: Ensure our system scales efficiently to handle millions of content pieces across various platforms.
- Social Media API’s: Understand and work with various social media API’s to improve the efficiency of data handling and acquisition.
- Frontend Development: If you have experience in Vue3, Tailwind CSS, Metronic, or Bulma, you’ll contribute to our user-facing features.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on web crawling and API development.
- Expert in Web Crawling/Downloading: Strong proficiency in Python, Selenium for data extraction and automation.
- Expert in Backend Development: Good knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, relational and document databases, and async communications using message brokers for building robust, scalable systems.
- Fluent in English: Must be comfortable communicating with an international team.
- Bonus: Frontend experience in Vue3, Tailwind CSS, Metronic, or Bulma is a big plus!
- Independent & Self-Driven: As a remote contractor, you should be able to work autonomously, take ownership of projects, and deliver high-quality results.
