Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of our React Native mobile app and React desktop application
- Architect and implement shared component libraries and business logic between platforms
- Create intuitive, responsive user interfaces that maintain consistency across devices
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design and consume APIs
- Implement automated testing and ensure high code quality
- Contribute to technical decision-making
- Participate in our thoughtful development process, ensuring solutions truly solve user problems
Requirements:
- 5+ years of frontend development experience or evidence of competence
- Strong expertise in React and React Native
- Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- Proven track record of building and shipping cross-platform applications
- Understanding of state management solutions (Redux, MobX, or similar)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD practices
- Passion for creating software that solves real-world problems
Desired Skills:
- Experience with shared codebases between web and mobile applications
- Familiarity with financial or bookkeeping software
- Understanding of offline-first architecture
- Experience with performance optimization
- Knowledge of iOS and Android platform specifics
