Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of responsive, cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
- Ensure a seamless user experience through high-quality UI/UX implementation.
- Collaborate with design teams to translate wireframes and mockups into functional applications.
- Contribute and maintain robust APIs and microservices using Golang.
- Optimize backend processes for scalability, security, and performance.
- Integrate backend services with the front-end architecture.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers.
- Collaborate effectively across time zones, ensuring timely progress and delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
Requirements:
- Expert-level experience with React Native CLI and Expo.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end workflows.
- Experience with mobile app optimization for performance and responsiveness.
- Strong proficiency in Golang for API and backend service development.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Additional skills:
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively across time zones.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on deadlines.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring tools like Sentry, New Relic, or similar.
- Experience working in startup environments.
- Knowledge of mobile-specific challenges such as battery optimization and push notifications.
