Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to oversee and implement safety policies on our construction projects.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits on construction sites.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations and industry best practices.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and site personnel.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain HSE reports, documentation, and performance metrics.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and auditors regarding HSE matters.
- Conduct emergency drills and implement emergency response plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance across all company projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of HSE experience in the construction, civil engineering, or oil & gas industry.
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is required.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System).
- Excellent understanding of HSE laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to promote a positive safety culture.
- Proficiency in HSE software and reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and make strategic safety decisions.
