Title: Senior Innovation Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
1. Innovation Strategy & Project Management
- Lead end-to-end management of innovation projects, from ideation through to commercialization, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, monitoring progress to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Utilize insights into consumer trends and competitive landscapes to prioritize innovation opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
2. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between R&D, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
- Collaborate with marketing and insights teams to define the value proposition, positioning, and target audience for new products.
- Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure the manufacturing feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and efficient launch of new products.
3. Market & Consumer Insights
- Conduct thorough market research and analyze consumer insights to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and new opportunities for innovation.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to drive new product ideas and creative solutions based on these insights.
- Track competitive landscape and perform SWOT analyses to guide innovation priorities and ensure differentiation.
4. Risk Management & Performance Monitoring
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure projects stay on track.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for new product launches, reporting results to stakeholders and adjusting strategies based on performance metrics.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Regularly communicate progress and key milestones to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Prepare presentations, project reports, and post-launch analyses to showcase project outcomes and learnings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in marketing, commercial or innovation.
- Strong understanding of consumer goods markets.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies, with a track record of leading successful product launches.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
- Minimum of 2years experience within an FMCG company.
