Senior Integration Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between our products and third-party systems
• Create and maintain APIs, web services, and microservices to facilitate seamless data exchange
• Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for efficient data integration
• Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and deliver optimal solutions
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of integration systems
• Implement security best practices in all integration solutions
• Document integration processes, APIs, and system architectures
• Stay updated with the latest integration technologies and recommend improvements to our tech stack

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role in the [specific industry, e.g., fintech, e-commerce] sector
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Extensive experience with RESTful and SOAP web services
• Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ) and ESBs (Enterprise Service Bus)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
• Proficiency in integration and API testing tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with financial systems integration (payment gateways, banking systems)
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and smart contract integration
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning integration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Certifications in relevant technologies or integration platforms
