Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
- Draft briefs and legal opinions for submission to a supervising Counsel.
- Synthesize legal research and analysis into clear, coherent memoranda or briefs for submission to the Firm, Clients, courts, arbitrators, or other relevant parties.
- Represent the Firm's Clients in courts of law, arbitration, or other judicial tribunals, presenting well-reasoned arguments before these bodies.
- Perform due diligence exercises on legal matters related to correspondence, contracts, agreements, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Prepare weekly or monthly status reports on all cases or briefs being handled, as assigned by a Supervising Counsel.
- Attend meetings, either physical or online, on behalf of the Firm or Clients as requested.
- Analyze and summarize legal documents, including contracts, and recommend necessary alterations.
- Write and publish articles in newspapers, peer-reviewed journals, or office journals annually.
- Draft agreements, contracts, opinions, papers, articles, or publications on topics as directed by a Supervising Counsel.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years experience as a Lawyer
- Must have been called to the Bar
- Minimum of BSc. in Law
