Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute strategies for the installation and operation of charging and battery swapping stations
- Provide leadership in planning the geographic rollout of stations to optimize coverage and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including city planners, utility companies, and regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and permits.
Project Management:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of charging and swapping stations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Oversee contractor selection and manage relationships with engineering, construction and technology vendors
- Ensure stations meet safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Operational Management:
- Develop and manage operational processes for the smooth functioning of the stations
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the charging and swapping networks, ensuring minimal downtime
- Implement systems to track usage, performance, and energy consumption.
- Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all equipment.
Financial Oversight:
- Manage the operational budget for station planning and installation, ensuring cost efficiency and return on investment
- Analyse financial data to drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and profitability.
Team Management & Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and operations staff to ensure effective operation and maintenance of stations.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment focused on growth and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Masters in Business Administration
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in energy infrastructure, electric vehicle (EV) charging networks, or related fields.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of EV charging technology, energy systems, and battery-swapping solutions
- Excellent leadership, project management, and financial acumen.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to electric mobility infrastructure.
