Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior Manager - Digital Media Innovation who embodies both technical prowess and creative ingenuity. This individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing digital media initiatives, driving innovation, and managing projects to successful completion. As this is a hybrid role with a strong emphasis on remote work, the ideal candidate must be dependable, self-driven, and experienced in managing remote teams. Key ResponsibilitiesInnovation and Strategic Leadership

Drive Digital Media Innovation

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative digital media strategies that align with company goals and client needs.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in digital media, AI, and technology to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.

Creative and Technical Balance

  • Seamlessly blend creative thinking with technical expertise to develop unique solutions.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the team.

Visionary Leadership

  • Embrace challenges and transform ambitious ideas into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to define strategic direction and long-term goals.

Project Management and Operations

Oversee Projects

  • Manage all digital media projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Facilitate creative strategy sessions with clients and internal teams.

Organizational Efficiency

  • Implement robust project management methodologies and tools to track progress and performance.
  • Utilize task management frameworks like Getting Things Done (GTD) or other methodologies to maintain organization and productivity.

Team Leadership and Remote Management

  • Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary team in a remote work environment, fostering a culture of diligence, self-driven work ethic, and continuous learning.
  • Experience in managing remote teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and team cohesion.

  • Utilize intermediate-level prompt engineering skills with tools like ChatGPT and other AI language models.

Digital Media and Content Creation

Content Production

  • Contribute to content creation efforts, including multimedia content and video editing using tools like CapCut, InShot, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Leverage AI tools for content creation and optimization.
  • Understand and apply principles of paid ads analytics, social media insights, and basic SEO.

Marketing Collaboration

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies that build audience and followership.
  • Assist in executing campaigns that position TERAOLIVE as a global brand.

Organizational Skills and Task Management

  • Task Management
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficient in using robust task management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and frameworks like Getting Things Done (GTD) or similar methodologies.
  • Implement and maintain organizational systems to improve efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in any field but you have an edge if you studied Digital Media, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering etc
  • No Degree?: Exceptional skills and experience can come from non-traditional backgrounds. Candidates with no formal degree with equivalent experience and a proven track record in the required areas are encouraged to apply


Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within digital media, innovation, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing digital media projects from conception to completion.
  • Demonstrated experience in balancing technical and creative responsibilities.
  • Experience managing remote teams and projects.


Technical Skills

  • Proficient in using and learning various software tools and platforms as listed above.
  • Intermediate-level skills with AI tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude.
  • Familiarity with AI digital media tools such as HeyGen, Colossyan, and others.
  • Experience with web development basics and content management systems.


Creative Skills

  • Experience in content creation, including video editing and multimedia production.
  • Proficient with design tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
