Senior Manager, Procurement & Asset Management

• Design and implement procurement policies and procedures that align with operational needs while ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and donor requirements.
• Adapt and enhance procurement processes for National and International procurements to improve efficiency, transparency, and integration with organizational workflows.
• Maintain ethical and transparent vendor relationships by upholding procurement standards, ensuring fair negotiations, and securing cost-effective, high-quality, and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Negotiate contracts and evaluate vendor performance to uphold integrity, accountability, and long-term reliability in the supply chain.
• Ensure the procurement plan is accurate, timely, and effectively implemented, maintaining alignment between planned inputs and expected outcomes while ensuring compliance.
• Conduct market research to track commodity trends, production patterns, and service availability, adapting procurement strategies to sustain relevance and responsiveness to emerging needs.
• Optimize stock management by ensuring consistency in warehouse operations and adherence to internal procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, streamline processes, and introduce adaptive measures to improve efficiency and support seamless program delivery.
• Maintain accurate asset and inventory tracking by ensuring databases are updated monthly. Implement processes to enhance data integrity, streamline documentation, and provide signed hard copies to support accountability, compliance, and responsiveness to evolving operational needs
• Analyze procurement data, trends, and metrics to inform decision-making, prepare reports, and ensure integration with related functions while identifying challenges affecting efficiency.
• Adapt procurement strategies to promote supplier diversity and sustainable sourcing, assessing market trends and resources to align with organizational priorities and sustainability goals.
• Adhere to eHealth Africa’s Code of Conduct and ensure procurement and asset management operations uphold the highest ethical standards in the field.
• Work with eHA group to meet their item storage and withdrawal needs, ensuring efficient coordination and service delivery.
