Project Overview

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer for a short-term contract to work on an HMS (Hospital Management System) script. The project involves bug fixes, updates, and the addition of new features to enhance the system’s functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, debugging, and enhancement of an HMS script built with PHP and CodeIgniter 3.
• Identify and resolve bugs, ensuring the system operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Implement updates and add new features to the HMS script as per project requirements.
• Optimize the application for performance and reliability, adhering to CodeIgniter 3 best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the HMS script, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate remotely with the team to align technical work with project goals.
• Manage and prioritize tasks to meet the tight project timeline.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in PHP development, with a strong emphasis on backend technologies.
• Proficiency and deep understanding of CodeIgniter 3 is a must – this is critical for success in this role.
• Proven experience working with CodeIgniter 3 to build, debug, and enhance web applications.
• Strong familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL) and designing efficient schemas.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, to manage project workflows.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide updates on progress.
