With a focus on best practices, you'll collaborate across teams, working closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Youâll be hands-on with cloud environments, managing deployments, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance.

• Application & Pipeline Development: You will lead the creation and maintenance of software solutions that process risk and financial data, ensuring they are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
• Solution Optimization: You will identify opportunities to improve codebases, streamline processes, and enhance system reliability or reduce costs.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: You will work with non-technical stakeholders and project managers to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: You will develop and maintain comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: You will oversee deployments and monitor applications within cloud environments (GCP, AWS), ensuring robust performance.
• Best Practices Implementation: You will drive adherence to best coding practices, including CI/CD pipelines and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  
  

The Ideal Candidate Hasâ¦

• 5+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on Python.
• Familiarity with technologies such as GCP, AWS, Azure, Docker, MySQL, Kubernetes, Pydantic, and FastAPI.
• Proven ability to refactor MVP code to meet production standards. Experience with service-based architecture and container orchestration is essential.
• Strong understanding of Git, GitHub workflows, and DevOps best practices for smooth, continuous integration and delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for documenting and presenting solutions effectively to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with financial risk systems.
• Familiarity with Pandas, Spark, Flask, and Unix Shell scripting.
