Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of quality assurance technicians to ensure effective implementation of quality control processes.
• Quality Control: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. 3. Audits and Inspections: Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Testing and Validation: Oversee testing and validation activities to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
• Corrective Actions: Investigate and implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to quality assurance team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and sales, to ensure effective communication and resolution of quality issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHA.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as quality engineering, materials science, or chemistry.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the plastic industry.
• Computer Application: Should have knowledge of Excel with formulas, Microsoft word, and PowerPoint.
• Certifications: Certified Quality Manager (CQM) certification in the rigid plastic industry.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
