Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets (material and labour), cash flow projections, and other project administration documents as required.
• Generate material and procurement schedules for various projects
  
• Administer contracts for internally engaged sub-contractors
  
• Visit project sites regularly to observe and monitor the progress of work, and ensure execution in line with the approved bill of quantities and internal budget.
  
• Monitor closely variations and additional works, and ensure cost approval before execution on site.
  
• Prepare payment valuations when required and ensure prompt receipts from clients.
  
• Scrutinize and certify progress claims from Sub -Contractors and make necessary payment recommendation
  
• Initiate payments for Subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure prompt payment to all service providers (Labourers and sub-contractors). 
  
• Prepare project final accounts
  
• Track project expenditure daily/weekly and give cost reports every month
  
• Prepare project financial reports for management or clients when required.
  
• Review status reports and work projections prepared by project site managers and modify schedules or plans as required. 
  
• Identify cost target for every activity on a project site, and carry out necessary cost checks before making cost recommendations on any site activity
  
• Work with a high level of competence, versatility, and integrity towards the profitability of the company on any project embarked upon.
• Other assigned tasks from time to time

Requirements:

• 6 years of cognate experience
• Minimum of HND
