Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Sales Executive to join our team in Nigeria, responsible for developing new business and expanding the market for India Rubber Manufacturer (IRM) products, specifically floating pneumatic fenders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the maritime and offshore industry, along with strong sales skills, to drive product adoption and increase market share.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Development: Identify and establish connections with potential customers in the maritime and offshore sectors, focusing on promoting IRM’s floating pneumatic fenders.


  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, including direct sales efforts, customer outreach, and relationship building.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business by providing exceptional product knowledge and support.


  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, potential areas of growth, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs.


  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, leads, opportunities, and customer communications. Regularly update management on sales progress, challenges, and forecasts.


  • Brand Representation: Represent IRM and Ship Around FZ LLC in industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and reputation in the Nigerian market.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the maritime or industrial sectors.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies, achieving sales targets, and managing customer accounts.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with diverse clients.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian maritime and offshore industry is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
