The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth, developing and managing key customer relationships, and ensuring that sales targets are met. This role involves generating new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and strategically positioning the company's product.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share for the company's wine and beverage products.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company.
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and other clients.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to present new products, promotions, and maintain customer loyalty.
  • Provide after-sales support and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment on promotional activities and brand positioning.
  • Conduct territory mapping and expand the company’s presence in untapped regions.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and activity reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members, sharing best practices and providing guidance.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations) to ensure smooth execution of sales initiatives.
  • Ensure all sales activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, including pricing, payment terms, and contract management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


Requirements:

  • Achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Growth in new customer acquisition.
  • Retention and growth of key accounts.
  • Territory expansion and market penetration.
  • Timely submission of sales reports and forecasts.
  • Team performance and development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the wine, beverages, or FMCG sector.
  • Experience in managing large accounts and developing new business opportunities.


Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the wine and beverages industry, market dynamics, and customer preferences.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
