Job Description:

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Sales & Marketing Expert with a proven track record in helping startups secure funding, develop marketing strategies, and drive business growth. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying and engaging potential investors, crafting compelling pitches, closing deals, and promoting EasySpend's brand.

Responsibilities:

Fundraising:

· Develop and execute a tailored fundraising strategy

· Identify and engage potential investors (VCs, Angels, Family Offices)

· Craft and refine pitches, financial models, and investor materials

· Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

· Negotiate and close funding deals

· Collaborate with our founding team to align fundraising goals with business objectives

Marketing & Advertising:

· Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies

· Create engaging content (blog posts, social media, email campaigns)

· Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads)

· Analyze and report on marketing metrics (ROI, conversion rates)

· Identify and partner with influencers, thought leaders, and industry events

Sales & Business Development:

· Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders

· Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth

Requirements:

· 5+ years of sales and marketing experience in fundraising, investment banking, or venture capital

· Proven success in securing funding for startups (track record of $1M+ deals)

· Strong network of investor connections

· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

· Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

· Familiarity with fintech and startup ecosystems

· Marketing expertise: content creation, digital advertising, analytics

Nice to Have:

· MBA or related advanced degree

· Experience working with African or emerging markets

· Knowledge of financial modeling and due diligence processes

· Certification in marketing or advertising (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot)
