Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior SEO Specialist to lead our SEO initiatives on a large-scale project within the legal industry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of SEO best practices, especially within the context of legal content. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase organic search traffic, enhance site authority, and drive engagement across the website. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our legal website ranks highly on search engines and becomes a go-to resource for users.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy Development: Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy tailored to the legal industry, focusing on keyword research, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and technical SEO optimization.
• Keyword Research & Content Optimization: Conduct thorough keyword research with a legal focus and optimize content to rank for high-intent, relevant keywords.
• Technical SEO: Identify and resolve technical SEO issues to improve website performance, including site speed, crawlability, indexation, and schema markup implementation.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize content for legal terms, topics, and phrases that drive organic traffic and engagement.
• Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors in the legal industry to identify opportunities, benchmark strategies, and stay up-to-date with industry changes.
• Link Building: Develop a link-building strategy to increase domain authority, focusing on acquiring high-quality, industry-relevant backlinks.
• Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and report on SEO performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), including tracking keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates.
• Stay Current with SEO Trends: Keep up with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments, with an emphasis on the legal sector.
• Collaboration & Cross-functional Support: Work closely with developers, designers, and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices, ensuring the website is optimized for both users and search engines.
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record in handling large-scale SEO projects, preferably within the legal or professional services industry.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog) and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
• On-Page & Technical SEO Skills: In-depth understanding of on-page and technical SEO best practices, including structured data, page load optimization, and mobile-first indexing.
• Content Optimization Expertise: Experience optimizing content for legal or complex, regulated industries is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to optimize performance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey complex SEO concepts to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
