Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve rankings on search engines.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and new keyword targets.
- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, images, and internal linking, to align with SEO best practices.
- Ensure that all website content is optimized for target keywords and adheres to SEO guidelines.
- Build and manage high-quality backlinks to enhance the website’s authority and credibility.
- Implement strategies to improve the website’s domain authority and online presence.
- Perform technical audits to identify and resolve issues impacting search engine performance, including site speed, mobile optimization, and crawl errors.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that technical SEO best practices are implemented.
- Work with the content team to create SEO-friendly content that drives traffic and engages the target audience.
- Analyze content performance and provide recommendations for content improvements.
- Use SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other platforms to track and analyze website performance and SEO metrics.
- Generate regular reports on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and conversion metrics, and provide actionable insights.
- Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Monitor competitors’ SEO strategies and adjust tactics to stay ahead in the search rankings.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to integrate SEO strategies into all marketing initiatives.
- Provide SEO training and support to team members as needed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an HND in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in SEO or digital marketing, with a proven track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with local SEO, international SEO, or e-commerce SEO.
- Familiarity with PPC advertising and social media marketing.
- SEO certification (e.g., Google Analytics Certified, HubSpot SEO Certification) is a plus.
