The Description of Role
This position is based in LAGOS with periods working from home and occasional travel. This role would suit a recent university graduate or someone early in their career and looking for a position that could grow over time.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for the tele- and on-site technical support and after sales support.
- Commissioning, troubleshooting, firmware/hardware updating of PV string, Hybrid / storage inverter and BESS.
- Reporting and following up with head office in relation to product failure with clear descriptions
- Evaluating PV plant performance by studying operation data on a regular basis
- Pro-actively work with installers & retailers and provide them best-in class customer experience.
- Regular follow-ups on the technical issues and build a healthy relationship with installer & retailers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above: must be electrical or electronics background.
- Preferred minimum 1 year of working experience in the solar industry especially dealing with product trouble shootings
- Strong ability to analyse and solve problems independently.
- Fluent in English
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- A friendly, positive and customer-driven attitude
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Adapt to frequent travel
- Driving license required.
Salary negotiable depending on experience
